A Statement from the 165th
First, we just wanted to thank everyone for their support over the last few years. This has been a long, arduous process and we would not have been able to get to this point without the support of the alumni base. We are all looking forward to getting to know as many alums as we can and sharing with you all the bonds of DKE. It is something we have been looking forward to since we pledged DKE, and we are ecstatic to finally get the opportunity. We also want to thank Laura Kane, Dean of Campus Life, for her support during this process. Laura is our temporary advisor and has provided invaluable advice as we have traversed this process. We also would like to thank Sam Filkins, former Director of Student Engagement, for helping us last fall and spring.
With our approval in hand, we will be conducting spring rush and fielding a spring class, the 168th class of Lambda DKE. We will be seeking gentlemen, scholars and jolly-good fellows who are interested in upholding the values of DKE and leading this fraternity forward. We will have a pledge class next fall as well, where we will continue to build the base of the organization on campus. We are very excited to have the opportunity to field pledge classes and rebuild this organization. It is not something we approach lightly, and we have been putting a great deal of time into making this a successful return.
Thank you all again. We are excited to be a part of this organization.
ITB,
The 165th Pledge Class
