Patrick Augusta ’88 passed into the Mystic Circle on January 4th after a brief battle with brain cancer. Pat had a heart of gold, a deep compassion for animals and was loved by many. A class clown of the highest order, he was known throughout his class for replicating the Michael Jackson-inspired “worm” on the floor at Gund. John Ryder ’90 said this on Facebook: “Pat was a great guy. I had many conversations and laughs with him when we both lived in the West Wing. His love of animals, kindness and positive attitude were things I will never forget.” Another classmate said: “Pat was one of a kind. I won’t forget him strutting down Middle Path with the collar on his Polo shirt popped, and his Bermuda shorts, even in the coldest weather.”
